Заключительные замечания
В последние годы мы стали свидетелями огромного развития аналитического аппарата теории игр в различных областях экономической теории. В этой главе мы раскрыли лишь некоторые вопросы, связанные с этим возрождением большого интереса к теории игр.
Для более полного представления всех сегодняшних достижений потребовался бы гораздо больший размер главы; особенно важной темой является пропущенная здесь теория торга (bargaining) (см. Sutton, 1986; Binmore, Dasgupta, 1987; Rubinstein, 1987).
Многие аспекты теории отраслевых рынков, международной торговли, макроэкономической политики и теории общественного выбора, которые раньше не поддавались анализу, сегодня могут быть исследованы с помощью формальных игровых моделей, включая динамические модели с асимметричной информацией, обогащенные идеями Шеллинга о стратегических ходах. Инструменты теории игр сегодня лучше понимаются и более рассудительно используются экономистами. Поэтому теория игр сегодня считается более полезной и интересной, чем это было несколько десятилетий назад* И в то же время сама экономическая теория стала более реалистичной и более приближенной к проблемам реального мира. Не похоже, чтобы этот благотворный процесс ослабевал, и, возможно, сегодняшний энтузиазм по поводу теории игр останется в экономической теории навсегда. Иными словами, нам не придется еще раз испытывать в течение длительного периода разочарование, как в 1950-х гг.
Конечно, остается еще много проблем, особенно проблемы множественности состояний равновесия и проблемы, возникающие в результате предпосылки общедоступного знания. Однако можно ожидать дальнейшего прогресса в развитии экспериментального анализа и родственных областей социологии и психологии. Например, похоже, что последние достижения в области игровых моделей в эволюционной биологии (Maynard Smith, 1982) могут открыть интересные перспективы для экономистов (Dasgupta, 1989).
